What do I do if I accepted a job offer, but then the company im at now offered me better to stay.?
I am graduating soon with a degree in finance, I have been offered a job by a big name brokerage house, after a few days I accepted the offer. Four days after accepting the offer, the president of the Financial Planning firm I currently work for offered me a job with the same basic pay and benefits. Can I accept this offer or what, I dont want to leave no one with bad thought about me.
I would weigh my pros and cons. Are you happy with your current job status? Do you like the people you work for? How much longer does it take you to commute to the other job? are you ready for a new change or environment? which one do you seem to think more about?
Just ask these questions. nobody will think bad about you if you give a 2 week notice. That is appropriate if you do that.
Only if tell them at the last day that you will leave the company they might think something bad.
But other than that, the answer lies in you. Write down the pros and cons and you will see the answer reveal.
